My favorite season is here and I am not referring to summer..... it's yard sale season!!!! The season of funky over size glasses, yards of mismatched fabric, incomplete puzzles, and in general treasures just waiting for me to pluck them up.
This last weekend I hit the jackpot, $.50 for a giant container of vintage buttons! Smiling with joy I poured the buttons out on the floor picking out my favorites.
After sorting through I couldn't wait to use them. I didn't have any sweaters that needed new buttons, but I did have some super plain thumb tacks that were calling me name.
My office supplies desperately needed a makeover, so I heated up the glue gun and compiled these babies....
