And the best part it only cost $4 because I had the yellow paint on hand.
Is it sad that the Dollar Tree clerks know me by name? Anyway I purchased the frames at the dollar store and slapped on two coats of yellow acrylic paint on the frames.
So the idea was to use my mad computer skills to make cute signs... *cough* my final sign looked like a monkey had stolen my computer and managed to scribble a plea for help....
Needless to say I scoured the internet for a free printable and found exactly what I was looking for at Handmade Mayhem. Their free printable is super cute and you can get it by clicking here.
The yellow didn't look quite right after I printed it out... okay so it ran out of yellow ink part way through... but it was easy to paint over and gave it an interesting effect.
Happy Mother's Day!!

I love it! My grandfather used to sing this all the time, especially to my grandmother. We all sang it at the graveside service when he passed. This song means so much! I may have to try making these for grandmother.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love the bright yellow frames! Glad you found my printable.
